III STD TO XII STD
The following system is existing in our school throughout the year to enhance the competitive spirit among the students.
I-Merit Card System – to prune up the individual talent.
II- House Point System – to enhance the spirit among students to exhibit their talents.
- Merit Card System
Your child will start collecting merit cards by the way they perform in the class room, in the examination, in the various competitions etc. After collecting 20 merit cards, a good book will be presented to your child in the school assembly.
- House Point System
Each child will be created or debited with points which will be transferred to their respective House and displayed prominently in the Reception Hall.
House Points are awarded for
i)Four Areas:
1. Academic
2. Sports
3. Co-curricular
4. Discipline
ii) Students are classified into 4 Houses:
1. Sapphire (Blue)
2. Emerald (Green)
3. Ruby (Red)
4. Topaz (Yellow)
Of the four areas, three namely Academic, Sports, Co-curricular carry plus (+) points and Discipline minus(-) points. To start the academic year we shall start with 1000 points for each house.
The house point system will be as follows:
1) Academics:
Combined Rank in each class for I Mid Term , I Terminal, II Mid Term, II Terminal and III Mid Term | 1st Rank | 30 points |
Combined Rank in each class for I Mid Term , I Terminal, II Mid Term, II Terminal and III Mid Term | 2nd Rank | 20 points |

2) Sports:

4) For ‘Indiscipline’, in the following activities 2 points will be deducted
i) Coming on time to school.
ii) Wearing uniform properly.
iii) Bringing diaries signed by parents on a daily basis.
iv) Speaking only in English in the school campus.
v) Completing Home work and assignments on time.
vi) Maintaining books and notebooks neatly.
vii) Bringing books and notebooks as per time table and as per teachers instructions.
viii) Inscribing roll number on the uniform and all the belongings of the students.
ix) Being responsible with their belonging.
The parents play a vital role in the last category-“Discipline”. The child who has no negative point will be honoured with their parents at the end of the year.
Whenever your child gets minus points it will be noted in the diary with red ink. If the total number of, minus points cross 10, the parent along with the child will be called for a counseling before a staff committee chaired by the Secretary.
These two systems will begin from June. We hope to get good co-operation from the students and parents to implement both the systems effectively, so that our school will be the top of the horizon as ”The Best School”.
